I created this extremely intricate piece for an art exhibition in Brisbane with the theme “Fairy tale”. This is my interpretation of the Danish story teller Hans Christian Andersens  “The princess and the pea”. I remember that I was very focused when I drew this as one mistake would mean to start all over again. And, it took me three drawings before I made it through the whole colouring process without one single spill! Phew!
