A special piece that is very close to my heart! I painted this one when I was feeling quite homesick, missing my family and also that special smell of moss, pine, spruce and clean air of Swedish nature. I was imagining how cool it would be if I could take some of that scent with me back to Australia in a jar, just to be able to have a little sniff every now and then.
It took me 5 years to let go of this painting, and of course, it sold pretty much straight away.
